Welcome!
I'm Joe Strazzere. And this is my blog.
I've included topics about testing, QA and work in general that I have found interesting or useful - hopefully they are of interest to you as well.
I've also included an occasional note about life, sports, or me. Feel free to ignore those if you like.
I tend to be a pragmatic person, and I approach testing, test automation, and writing the same way. If something works, great! It might work for others, or it might not; it almost always depends on the context. I believe that there are no best practices, but there are lots of good enough practices for me that might prove to be good for you, too. Try some, and let me know how they work in your shop.
I'm a lucky guy. I was a hands-on Director of Quality Assurance. That means that I not only got to lead a terrific QA Team, and help with the overall direction of the company, but I also got to perform some hands-on testing myself on occasion. That way, I was able to keep in close touch with our people, products, tools, and processes. And that way, I almost always had something to write about. To me, this was the best of both worlds!
If there's a topic you'd like to see more of, or for that matter one you'd like to see less of, send me a note. I promise to read it, and to respond quickly if I can.
Enjoy,
Joe
