Agile Is...

Agile Is

According to Google (and Google knows everything), Agile is: copyrightjoestrazzere
  • Agile is more important than being perfect
  • Agile is bullshit
  • Agile is a philosophy
  • Agile is dead
  • Agile is not for everyone
  • Agile is great
  • Agile is a scam
  • Agile is the new micromanagement
  • Agile is a way to change all of that
  • Agile is a good thing
  • Agile is a disease
  • Agile is evil
  • Agile is broken
  • Agile is fragile
  • Agile is not the answer
  • Agile is putting the cart before the horse
  • Agile is a sham
  • Agile is key to making the most of public-sector IT
  • Agile is an approach
  • Agile is great for Agencies
  • Agile is wrong for UX

Can you add to the list?

A New Version of WinTask - 4.0, with Windows 8 and IE 10 Support

WinTask 4.0

The good folks at TaskWare have released a new version of the favorite tool in my toolbox - WinTask.

The big news here is that WinTask has added support for Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 10. copyrightjoestrazzere

In addition, you can now press the Windows key using the new "" keyboard mnemonic, and can specify how precisely a bitmap comparison must be for it to pass.

Here is the vendor's version history of WinTask: http://www.wintask.com/version-history.php

Check this tool out at http://www.wintask.com/

You can see some of my free WinTask utility scripts here, using the WinTask tag.

An Irrational Deal

If you like Dan Ariely (like I do), and you have a Kindle (like I do), you can get a good deal on a Kindle "bundle" from Amazon (like I did).

Three of Ariely's books are available in a single Kindle purchase - currently priced at just $12.49:
  • Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions
  • The Upside of Irrationality: The Unexpected Benefits of Defying Logic at Work and at Home
  • The Honest Truth About Dishonesty: How We Lie to Everyone---Especially Ourselves

Go to http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BHEJ4IW/?tag=allthingsqual-20 and order it before the price goes up.

If you own a different e-reader, you can also get this bundle at:

Remember to check the price before you purchase.

Dan Ariely is a professor of psychology and behavioral economics at Duke University, and a heck of a writer. You can learn more about Ariely at http://advanced-hindsight.com/ and http://danariely.com/

Happy reading!
